Maintain Don’t Gain: Wrap Up, Plus What’s Next?

Wellness

We’ve reached the end of Maintain Don’t Gain. We hope you found that whether or not you achieved your goals, the program helped you try out new techniques to add to your health and wellness repertoire. Let’s do a quick inventory and reflection on these past weeks:

Fill Out Your Post-Holiday Roundup

The last section of your Holiday Action Plan is a Post-Holiday Roundup that asks you 5 questions about your experiences trying to maintain your weight over the holidays. What were the easiest, hardest, and most effective actions? What techniques did you learn and/or try that you’re going to use going forward?

Go ahead and type them or write them into your Holiday Action Plan—the act of actually recording them in the plan will serve as a nice bookend to your efforts, and it gives you the ability to get a view of the entire experience in one container.

If you plan to continue some of the techniques going forward, great! If you tried some and they weren’t for you, that’s totally fine. Maybe this would be a good time to revisit the holiday action planner and try one of the other action tracks.

And if you haven’t already, we highly recommend doing at least one of the exercises from last week’s post on developing a sense of purpose.

We wish you a happy new year full of learning and fun!
