For retirees enrolled in the Delta Dental PPO plan through ACERA, for the 2023 plan year and going forward, diagnostic and preventative services will no longer count against your annual maximum, giving you an estimated 300 more treatment dollars to use on other services and procedures for the year. Diagnostic and preventative services include your semi-annual checkups, cleanings, and associated services.

Additionally, ACERA increased the annual maximum to $1,300 for members visiting non-PPO dentists to match the maximum for PPO dentists. This means that the maximum for all PPO enrollees for the 2023 plan year is $1,300 regardless of which dentist you visit!
