A postcard advertising our Summer 2019 Retiree Lake Merritt Wellness Walk was mailed this week to local addresses, and the address file we used contained an error. The error resulted in the postcards going to the correct addresses with the correct first names, but the last names are all printed incorrectly on the postcards because they got shifted in the address file that the printer used.

We apologize for this error and for any confusion this might cause you. This error has no effect on the integrity of your data with ACERA. Your data remains correct in our database, and our database remains secure. This was simply an error made with the address file used to print the postcards.

We encountered the same error earlier this year. We are taking corrective actions to ensure that this never happens again. Again, we apologize for this error.
