Go Warriors!

ACERA wishes to congratulate the Golden State Warriors on their second NBA Championship victory. The City of Oakland will be hosting a parade and celebration for most of the day on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Unfortunately, this will make it difficult, if not impossible for ACERA members and the public to access ACERA’s offices that day because our offices are right in the middle of the celebration area.

Due to this limited ability to access ACERA plus heightened security in ACERA’s building, ACERA will be closing its offices to members and the public on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Members are advised to contact ACERA via phone or email for assistance that day and/or reschedule their visit to ACERA for another day.

ACERA’s regularly scheduled Board of Retirement meeting will be rescheduled to Thursday, June 22, at 2 p.m.

Additionally, ACERA will be rescheduling the Pre-Retirement Seminar that day to Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 9 a.m. We will also be rescheduling the Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney Post Session to Thursday, July 6, at 12:15 p.m. Emails will go out to attendees notifying them of the rescheduling.
